Bicycle Mechanics - Good source for chainrings for an FSA triple? Use Ultegra? If so, 6603 or 6703?

I've waited too long - if I crank hard, the chain slips in both the 50T and 39T rings. So I will get a new chain (I am embarrassed to find it's stretched by 3/8" at this point! I rode 50 miles today on a club ride - a lot of timely shifting into the granny gear kept things OK.
Any good place to get good chainrings at a low cost?
Can Ultegra rings be substituted for FSA?
Are they better? (more durable, smoother shifting, whatever)
Thanks!

Try Praxis, I hear their rings are the bee's knees.

I replaced the middle ring on my FSA triple with a 105 ring. Worked perfectly. Not sure about Ultegra. YMMV.

Maybe, but I also hear they are dreadfully expensive.
To the OP: You may be able to buy a complete crank for the cost of just replacement chainrings. Shimano's 105 is available in a 50/39/30 triple and a bit of searching should find it at a good price.

If you want a 50/39 set, Ultegra's not an option because they don't come in 50/39. In that situation, I'd look at Tiagra and 105.

Shimano rings are certainly more durable and shifter better than FSA rings. However, they are expensive, and as mentioned above, a new Shimano crank can often be found for the same price as to replacement Shimano rings. You may even be able to sell the old crank without any chainrings on eBay afterwards.
