"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - You go girl

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

If you need inspiration, or drama, the women's road race provided more than enough. Epic. Is Shelley Olds flat not more worthy of coverage than some gymnastics flub? Talk about heart wrenching yet barely a mention.
Watching today's Time Trial I was disgusted to see some of the world's best athletes competing on technology from 2008.
You go girl.

God no kidding, that Schlanger doofus kept saying she was dropped. Did he not see her mismatched front wheel?
Of course, this is the same dude who, 2 years ago in the Tour moto-oil-spill crash-a-thon, failed to mention the whereabouts of Basso for 45 minutes. Hmm, I wonder where the GC contender is. Stellar, stellar announcing. I'm still pissed about that. :-|
The Dutch were amazing. Haven't watched the TT yet.
It was great to actually see women's racing televised. More please!

Ex, are you referring to her performance in the RR or the TT? I didn't get to see the women's TT, and apparently missed out on what you're referring to. Can you fill me in?

Road race.
The technology reference alluded to the TT where P3's and older versions of several models were out there in the women's race.
