Eastern is testing titanium cranks right now. check it out. www.easternbikes.com say what you think. would you ride them? eastern now has some pretty sick frames and sprockets

Ti always has the potential of being good. The price, of course, is not listed on the site and it looks like they are Profile compatible which I think is a really good thing to know that should Eastern stop making something, or go out of business, another company makes compatible replacement parts - crank arms/spindle etc.
I would definitely make sure they are available in shorter lengths and give Pat over at www.flatlandfuel.com a call to make sure that he has a few pairs in 160mm to sell to the serious ground riders. I would definitely be down for a pair of them if they are short enough and Profile compatible.

It's going to end up being a complete waste of cash in my opinion, I'll say that much.
im no expert but do cranks get broken easily? ive been riding steel for abt 4 years and they seem ok, except i need to tighten them ever week. I ride about 10 min a day.

i believe that they are profile compatible because the eastern cranks my bike came with are compatible
