I've done the search and can find very little on the bike I'm looking at.

First off, I don't race. Don't even care to go fast as my sig states. I'm thinking that I want a 29er to replace my hybrid. After looking I think I want a monster-cross bike. It seems to be the ideal set up for just everyday riding, some commuting and some trail riding.

After looking at what is out there that fits my budget I think I like the Gravity Zilla. Doesn't appear any will be available in my size until November so I have time. Wondering if those with this bike would mind sharing your thoughts?

Also, the Zilla XX seems to have much better components for about 300 more. The gearing is pretty wide but the low gear seems to be more of a granny, which I like.

Anyway, thoughts?
Thanks.

You might want to try asking this question in the commuter forum. I haven't seen the Zilla being discussed much here, but it definitely comes up over there.

The XX definitely has better components, and I like its gearing. I don't think there's ever much use for a 48T ring offroad. A 42T will be perfect in most situations on or off road, and when you need a low gear you usually need a really low gear.

Thanks! I'll do that. I couldn't find much on it doing a search so didn't know where to ask.
