hi im matt im 14 and have just got into road cycling :) i enjoy time trials and road cycling and i also enjoy rugby .i currently have a vertigo bilboa but am getting new brakes slicks and tyres for it :D i am about to go on a 60 mile bike ride i am in a good fitness range and can do 23 miles in a hour to an hour and a half and need a kit list as i have just gone in to longer road cycling i have a hybrid bike but with drop down bar ends and racing tyres

I haven't heard of "Bilboa"...I'm going to have to check it out.

You may wanna hit the space bar and a random punctuation now and then:lol:...easier to keep track of your post. :thumb:


Sucks when your bike is down for maintenance, but it'll be that much sweeter when you get your brakes and rubber.

Welcome aboard "hodgey". I was 14 when I went on my first multi-day tour with a school buddy. Although I had an old, huge, heavy, man's single gear bike, we had a fantastic adventure (52 years ago), and if I could turn the clock back, would love to do it again.

did 44 miles in 3 hours and a half any good? was on mountain bike because hybrid in for maintence
