Foo - Siri doesn't understand me :(

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Apple's Siri doesn't speak Southern.
At all.
She doesn't cotton a single word I say. I ask, and she just spits gibberish back at me.
I've got an accent, but it ain't that damned thick (usually).
It's like this:

"If you like I can search the web for, For 58 apple slice."
Faa.

The Scotts can't (which rhymes with ain't, btw) cast without using both hands.

Well, if you use terms like "doesn't cotton a single word I say" no wonder.
Let's see what Siri probably hears when Allen sez: I've got an accent, but it ain't that damned thick.
Ahv guyot n ack-see-ent, bud eeit ain't theyat dammd the ick.

She came back with, "Oh for the love of Great Steve's ghost, talk English you friggin' hick."
I'm not quite sure how to take that.

I would destroy the iPhone for insulting me.
Try asking it "what is NFC?" or "NFC card"
my galaxy S3 was hopeless. It could never get the words right. "NFE", "NFE card", "NFC car". It kept reminding me of mercs on top gear.

You could try talking to a real live girl.
Except they scream and run away when I try.
The resident Puerto Rican welcomes you all to the land of voice misrecognition.

Back in my single days I could cast my bait in the water single-handed:50:
9 out of ten casts I would get a hit:thumb:

"Lucy!you gots some splaining to do"
"Lucy!you gots some splaining to do"
There's no voice recognition system capable of understanding Puerto Rican accent. I specially despise customer service lines that do not give the option of using TDMF tones until the voice recognition fails at least 3 times:
System - Please say what you are calling for... "power outage", "billing issues" or "new instalation"
Rube - "power outage"
System - "did you say billing issues?"
Rube - "no"
System - "billing issues... please choose "request payment extension", "bill has errors"..."
Rube - "No billing issues! I have a power outage!!"
System - "you have requested a payment extension..."
Rube - Arg!
