I like to throw a hand full of lug nuts in the area someone is combing with a medal detector when they aren't looking...

haha, a sure way not to pick up women at the beach... I have always wanted to try it though. I used to dig all the time as a kid, hoping to unearth anything. One time I found a really old pocket knife, but I was like 6 so my parents took it away. The only other things I unearthed caused serious damage to the sprinkler system.

One of my favorite characters on the show, only surpassed by Otis probably... Barney too I guess. But that might just be I saw The Incredible Mr. Limpet as a kid and automatically loved don knotts in anything I saw afterwards.
