It might be time to make some blueberry lemon scones since blueberries are in season. Yum.
Savory scones are where it's at.

Fairlight. Perhaps you have seen some of their cookies at the place you work.
I work at the production place, not that storefront bakery.

Scones are super easy to make, and hard to screw up. Unless you are distracted and leave the butter out.
My favorite recipe is with dried cherries, almonds, and just a handful of white chocolate chips.

Indeed! I indulge in a Fairlight cookie for lunch many days.
I'll just back up a truck to the loading dock. As I said, my wife loves scones.

Here you go. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Cranberry-Orange-Scones-15682
Substitute blueberries for cranberries and lemon zest for orange. Don't overwork the dough (I just pat it together) and they will come out nice and puffy.

That reminds me... this is very simple:
Ham and cheddar balls
1 pound bulk breakfast sausage
2 cups Bisquick
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup water (or milk?)
Mix all of the above and form into balls. Bake on greased sheet, 25 minutes at 350 F. Add some spices if you like. Sage flavored breakfast sausage works well.

If you're smuggling in free cookies, have them sent to the TRACU unit. They're the people in need of treats. Me... I'm cheap labor. :p
