I do admit it was a crazy storm but all they had to do is walk to there cars but not one of them did they all stay hurdled up under the awning me i got on my bike and rode home thru wet cloths ion washer and did laundry happy i have money on some water lol
I did that once but in my case, it turned out they knew hail was coming... it hurt, a lot.

Even here in Chicago where usually rain is a pretty frequent occurrence, people freak out about it. Going 40 on the highway, running from place to place with an utter disregard for traffic or the people around them, using their brights, etc etc. Rain just brings out the worst in people. I love rain. Driving in it, walking in it(as long as I won't have to stay wet too long,) watching it, it's all good to me. I'm sure most love the dry, hot weather we've been having, but I despise it. Give me one rainy day a week and I'd be a happy man.

I rode passed a bar in a rain storm, a worried looking biker dude offered to pay me $5 to go to his Harley and bring him the leather jacket he had tied to it, 25 feet later I rode away $5 richer and just as wet as before. I dunno maybe he would have melted, you never know.

Around here they just drive faster and crazier. God help us if it ever snows.
