Ok, well I don't think this post should be posted in the hybrid area. I know I have front suspension and disk brakes but have been looking to upgrade the tires to do more mountain trails or single track trails. I have looked at putting 29er knobbies on there but like your cylocross tires. They have the good roll I'm looking to somewhat match with my stock tires by have the knobbies to do the trails. I just plain need help, suggestions, and your experience for my next purchase as that most of you have experience in this field as I do not. My trek ds 8.3 has 700x38c tires currently. Now what do I do???? Thanks guys n gals
math is fun

I found Continental Travel Contact a useful mix .. a row of knobby- knobs
on the edge of the tread.. a smooth rolling center band.. the knob verge comes in contact
when the surface softens..
It is actually a trekking thing, for when the pavement ends but the road continues.
