the silver lining is that in the event it can't be fixed, you can at least replace the tire without worrying about uneven tread wear.

Un-amish. There will be hell to pay when the elders learn of this.

That would be a silver lining....thank goodness they were able to plug it, only cost me 9.54 with my work discount! Woooo!
This thread is boring without pictures of bewbs.

Don't tires have warranties? Also, did the new stinky security guard help you change it?

Nah, the guard did it so he could watch her squat down and shake her moneymaker while she changed it. Installed a new CC camera just for that purpose.

Don't know, don't care.
Where I get my tires they fix flats for free. Not just on tires you bought there, any tires as long as you are a customer.
It seems to have served them well.

You should have had them plug and patch it rather then just a plug. Safer and more durable in the long term.

I parked my mtb bike in the bike rack at work in Las vegas on a really hot day (115*+), and when I went to leave both tires were flat and I though that someone had messed with my bike, but when I got home and began replacing the tubes, I found that each one had a 5"-18" split. Apparently with 65psi the tube failed just from sitting in the hot weather and direct sunlight.

Probably, but they do great work and I trust them. They even came over to our parking lot with a flat bed in case the tire wouldn't hold air long enough to drive it over. Luckily my bf came down and inflated the tire w/ the air compressor on the Audi and they drove it over.
I should buy them pizza.
