i am trying to attach a pair of cinelli spinaci bar extentions onto my 22.2 mtb handlebars (on my hybrid) and the clap size says it will fit a 24.5 bar so i am wondering if i could fasion a shim and attach it? please help and i have already tried rubber gromets and they just break when you put any pressure on the bar extensions
