Hello, I have an old Raleigh sirocco sakae 501 custom English bike, cromalloy.m butted frame. nothing has been replaced. I'd like to know more about the bike though. Just basic information like when it was made. I also would like to know how much it would be worth as I bought it for £80 and was wondering if that is a fair price?

Heres a picture of it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8trloo89901my7d/DSCN1431.JPG?m

Hello Cl9 welcome to the forums. can you post a few pics? Often bikes have very small difference from year to year and someone here may be able to pick up one of them. Also value is very subject to condition. There is also a seperate forum for apprasails.

Welcome to the forums. If you visit the Vintage Trek website, you will find information about dating the components on your bike. This can help determine the year of manufacture. Next, pop over to Bikepedia to further help determine year of manufacture.
