hey anyone here go to sf state? i've seen a sweet red colnago locked up on holloway and 19th and a few other fixed rides around that area. i ride my celeste bianchi to school most days too so you might or might not have seen me around. anyway, if you're a student at state and would want to go for a ride around that lake merced area, pm me- lets hook this up.

ps - sorry i wasn't able to make it last saturday, i wanted to go on the graffiti ride but i was up way too late doing things that probably weren't in my best interests. next time i'll plan ahead!
i am also an sf state student as well as staff memeber. I bring my bike inside though, blue pinarello.
I think i have seen your bianchi locked in front of the Humanties building. i ride almost everyday.
See ya on the next forum ride.

i go to state also. i think i saw you once walking your bianchi between the fine arts/creative arts building. you might have caught me staring. i ride a brown steamroller. i usually lock up on the fine arts ramp but haven't been riding much since my wheels got swiped this past semester. ostro, are you talking about the grey pista usually locked up near the rosso cafe? i've seen that one too, so i might be mixing takeshi up with a different bike. over the last year alone i've noticed a lot more fixed rides around campus.

i've seen that gunmetal pista locked up outside the humanities building almost everyday, i was hoping that someone on this forum was the owner.
mine is an all celeste bianchi with unwrapped drops. do you guys use the bike barn at all? i'm usually too afraid to lock mine up outside so the last few semesters i've been bringing my bike into classes and setting it in the back.

I hate the bike barn! The few times i have used that place, they leave a sign on the door saying back in 5 minutes, 5 minutes became 45 and i got fed up called the capmpus police and had to wait another 45 minutes for them to show to free my bike.
That was the worst of it, but all too frequently i have not had reliable service. that was a few years ago, dont know if things have changed. I take my bike inside too!
Im pissed right now cause i just took a cold shower for almost a week now (new people moved into the building and i think they shower at precisely the same moment, i dont even know them but i hate them for it, (i think this is the cold shower talking)). It effin sucks getting on your bike cold in the freakin cold!!! arhghghghghgh

for night classes i usually bring it indoor, or if my class is in the theater or the soundstage. though i've never really had a problem locking my bike up outside FA. there seems to be enough traffic in that area that anyone caught ****ing with it would get spotted, but not so much that it would get banged up.
i second what ostro says about the bike barn. too much of a hassle, especially since i'm almost always barely on time for class. i think it's run by state's bike club, but i'm unsure. we should start a FG club.
also, i just picked up my new wheelset. black phils laced to black anodized velocity deep v's (all black, without machined sidewalls!) with black spokes/nipples. i think i just went. will post pics soon.
