Classic & Vintage - Shimano 105 headset cartridge bearings

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I need to replace the cartridge bearings in my 105 headset. Where would be a good place to find replacements? Thanks

I would start with your LBS, then check Harris Cyclery you can access the QBP catalog through them. Ebikestop might have them also.

PSSST: cartridge HS bearings are not really C&V just yet ;)
I don't have a lbs. yeah I know it's not really c&v but it's what came on my late 80's cannondale sr 600. It's the only part that's not campy, but it's a bad weather bike so I do t want to replace the whole headset.
Just take them to a bearing supply house and have them matched. I bet I live in a more podunk town then you and we still have a bearing supply house.
We have an auto zone and a small hardware store
These aren't the kind of bearing that a bearing house would have.
It's proprietary Shimano part, interchangeable with (actually the same bearing) Ultegra, LX and XT.
Bike Tools Etc. used to carry them at a really reasonable price but I just checked and they only seem to have the 1 1/8" size now.
Should have bought some while I had the chance!
