I'm looking for some help here.
Found this frame that has Pinarello markings all over it.. but the lack of correct markings on the ST and BB leads me to think its not Pinarello. Even the seller doesn't think it is.
However i'm still interested in the frame and i'm looking to identify the make based on the seat stays = 0 = . Any thoughts?

well, that does look to be a correct fork. Is that a columbus logo on the stays?

Can you take a close up?

Are you sure the seat stay cap is pantographed? Almost looks like it could just be painted on.

i've never seen stickers like that on a pinarello

From here it looks like somebody just messed around with a white marker on the cap.

If you look real close at the seat stay spoons where the odd markings are Pinarello would have their engraving right in between the two = = marks that look like a capital C with a small t coming off the bottom of the C and a small p just above the t, I can't tell but it looks like that engraved logo is there so double check this because the photo isn't that clear even when I zoom in on it.
In addition the lugs with that odd looking tree cutout is one of 2 different type of cutouts that Pinarello used or they didn't use any cutouts.
In summary, it's a Pinarello. Now find out what year it is and what parts came on it originally and try to restore it to original condition...at least that's what I would do if I had it.
Edit: I just found a Pinarello cutout pic of the exact same cutout you have on your lugs: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34779287@N03/4876182893/

I don't know if the frame is a Pinarello or not, but the fork is. It's not the greatest pic, but the lug cutouts on the frame sure don't look like the typical Pinarello cutout that I've seen. But I don't know enough about older Pinarellos to know if other shapes were common.
Here's a lug cutout on my Pinarello, and from what I've seen it's the typical cutout shape for Pinarellos:

I just showed a pic of a Pinarello cut out that's the same as the posters cutout; please see that site.

More details of the details will help us assist in IDing this frame. BB shell, lugs, dropouts and a better shot of the seatstay caps would be a great start.
We're here to help - just give us some ammunition to work with :)

Thanks for the replies everyone...
There is absolute no markings of the typical cutout shape for Pinarellos
Nothing on the BB.. only thing that i could see was on the rear seat stay..
Like others have stated, the fork does look like a Pinarello fork, however they have bins and bins of forks so they say; so the fork could be from another bike anyways...
I think i'll pass on this for now and wait for a legit Pinarello to pop up. Thanks all!

The link you posted has the same lug cutout shape as my bike; in fact it's the same bb shell as my bike, Pinarello's "bridgeless bottom bracket shell." However, and I realize the OP's pic doesn't show much detail, the cutouts in the OP don't look at all like the Pinarello cutout to me. I think the OP is saying this as well, that the cutouts are a completely different shape.

those cutouts are hand cut not machine cut, so each cut would look a bit different, add on top of that hand painted which can blur the lines a bit. If you look at both cutouts on the headtube lug of the poster's bike and the BB lug on the one I showed it's the same, there may be very small differences in the design due to the handcut and painting but their the same. I couldn't find a headtube lug in the image search to match for the headtube in the post pic or I would have showed that.
Also note, if the poster will exam his seat stay spoons for the engraving I mentioned earlier of the Ctp engraving which I think I saw it there under the white paint...but the photo quality was poor when I zoomed in on it so I can't be sure. But that engraving will seal the deal.
I'm pretty confident it's a Pinarello, but the engraving confirmation will make it 100%.
The Pinarello "clove" that you referenced is not on the OP's bike frame. The cutouts are a typical triangular shape found on many Italian lugs.

Schit; my bad I got side tracked looking at two different bikes flipping between images and thought they were the same. Sorry. But Pin did use 3 types of lugs that I know of, one of the "clove", one with the triangle, and one with no cutout.
So really the only thing left to seal the deal is the possible engraving on the spoons.
