I am looking for a bike to ride gravel/commute/winter train/lite tour. The LHT or a Fargo were the bikes I thought I wanted after riding them. The folks at the LBS as well as many on this forum said to think about a CX bike.
I am looking for some good information on an entry level CX bike, brand name is not all that important. I have never had a chance to ride a Focus or Rocky Mountain bike. The Focus Mares AX 3 and the Rocky Mountain Solo CX are two that look interesting. Any feedback on these bikes would be great. Any other bikes I should consider and feed back on them would be great.
