My back tyre has gone down 3 times this week.
Wednesday morning, went out to garage climbed on bike, tyre went down. Pumped it up, it held OK.
Rode to work. Rode home (26 miles round trip)
Thursday morning rode to work. On ride home tyre went down (glass). Fixed flat. Rode home.
This morning. Tyre flat. pumped it up. Rode to work. It's still up 5 hours later!
What gives?

Valve stem leak maybe?
Sounds like you have a broken bottle on your route.
A broken bottle gets ground into the pavement and is hard to see sometimes. One broken bottle can produce a lot of troubles.
Carry a little hand broom with you on your next commute and see if you can find the offending glass "pillow". Sweep it up and save yourself some flat tire headaches.

Maybe there`s a little piece of glas hiding between the two layers of the tire.
I`ve had this once and costed me three spare tubes, the funny thing is; you don`t see / feel anything on the inside.
You have the search the outside very secure.

Mark brings up an excellent point. You might have only found one piece of glass when there are more.
Glass is really hard to find imbedded in a tire. If you repair a tube three times and can't find the clulprit, get a new tire.
An old trick is to get some fiber wadding like cotton, wool, or synthetic wadding (from an old pillow or jacket) and rub it lightly along the inside of the tire. Sometimes the fiber will snag on the glass shards that your eyes and fingers cannot find.
