i got this in my inbox the other day and it made me laugh.

Dear,

Good Day to you,

I know this mail may course a little time to read but please don't see this as an embrasment because i am writting this mail with tears, and before i go futher i will let you know who i am.
my name is George Uman, a Sierra Leonean schooling here in Burkina-Faso,West Africa.I am 22years old, You will be surprised to receive this mail from a total stranger like me,Anyway, i got your contact through internet and decided to approach you for assistance.
My father, the late Dr Aboumane Uman, was one of the prominent Diamond dealers in my country Sierra Leone, he was also one of the paramont chiefs in my town before He was murdered in cold blood early last year alongside with my mother by the Rebels of R.U.F when they invaded the town.
When i got home from school to see the remains of my late father and other family members, i discovered that my home had been burnt down and my parents were both murdered by the Rebels of R.U.F that has been fighting against the legitimate Government in my country since 1992, Now my late father deposited the sum of(USD$15million) as a FAMILY TREASURE IN A TRUST COMPANY here in Burkina-Faso,West Africa before his untimely death, this money was meant to be used to build an ultral mordern medical Clinic here in Burkina-Faso for me after i shall have completed my studies as a qualified Doctor but untimely death of my parents have denied me this good opportunity.

Now,as the only son, i have made claims of ownership of the box containing the money although the people at the Trust Company are not aware of the contents of the box, But i need a reliable person outside Burkina-Faso through whom i could move the money abroad and who will subsequently help me to invest the money wisely while i go back to school to complete my education.
Also promising to entrust this money in your hands if you would be willing to help me in this matter, and i will give you 40% of the total sum if you will assist me in this matter. In addition,i will equally deduct 5% after the transfer to cover expenses incurred in the course of moving this consignment abroad to your country because i have went to the security company were my father deposited this consignment for claim and the director said that i am too young for that, that i should let any of my relation that can help me out although i don't any since the incident happened, that's why i need this help from you to come and stand as my relation for them not to denied me my future please.

I don't have any other person i will call my own and i am staying at refugee camp here in burkina-faso.
If you can assist, please get back to me promptly through my private e-mail address so that we can discuss the modalities of making this move.
I will equally insist that you make it a very private and confidential matter becouse my father registered this as gold for them not be aware that is money that's why i want this to be confidential.
I look forward to hear from you soonest.
Kind Regards
Master George Uman.

What a coincidence, your user name here is iamlucky13. As long as it makes it to that kid so he can have an ultra modern hospital to work in.

Oh and if you are lying iamlucky, I will hunt you down and kill you

Helloooo, he must have a laptop and wireless, after all he says he got salmonchild's e-mail addy "through internet". You don't get that sort of info by browsing Burkina-Faso's Yellow Pages in a refugee camp. His equipment is probably solar powered, too. That would be nice when touring, by the way...

:D
