Cheers for the help chaps. :thumb: It actually wasn't that hard to put it together, the French BB didn't seem to make a difference. The parts all arrived over the last week or so and I finished it a couple of days ago. I've ridden it around town and fixed gear definitely takes more concentration but it is a lot of fun. Yesterday I flipped the rear wheel and put a brake on to see if I prefer SS. It's a close call so far.
I have had a lot of looks and compliments, the only downside is that I daren't leave it anywhere, even though I have a (somewhat flimsy) combination chain lock. It's awesome though, even better than I thought it would be. It's definitely addictive too, I'm already talking about making a town bike for my gal.
