I'm looking at getting a 2012 CAAD 10-5. I currently have a set of Easton EA50SL's with Gatorskin tires. Should I keep the stock Cannondale setup or put the Eastons on the CAAD 10? Just wanted some thoughts from the collective.......

Your LBS should be setting up your bike hand tensioning and truing
the wheels in the bike box..
IDK specifically what the OEM has put in the build specs.

Light wheels ClydeRider? they will need more frequent attention, at least.
a low spoke count fashionable wheel may be better replaced by a common
32 0r 36 spoke 3 cross build wheel.

point of sale take off is the best time to do that,
then it is a new wheel to re sell.

I think that every serious road bike rider should have a set of Ultegra/Open Pros stashed in their garage, basement or workshop. They're not the lightest or the most aero or the ultimate anything else. They are, however, a decent reliable wheelset that you'll never have to apologize for using. Keep 'em as spares or ride them everyday and keep your fancy wheels for Sundays.

I would prefer the Shimano hubs (servicable cup and cone) to the Easton.

But I seriously doubt you would be able to notice one bit of difference, unless there is a big difference in weight.
