In today's Omaha World Herald is the article "Cracks force some trails to turn away bike traffic (http://www.omaha.com/article/20120825/LIVEWELL02/708259906/1685#cracks-force-some-lincoln-trails-to-turn-away-bike-traffic)."

The drought seems to be creating cracks in some unpaved (limestone, crushed rock, etc.) trails in the Lincoln, NE area.

Have the unpaved -- or paved -- trails near you been affected by the drought?

Not that I have noticed. Ours are pretty much cement. Whether or not that makes a difference, I don't know.

The 125 miles of trails in Lincoln are unaffected. It is the two main trails out of town going east and south that are affected.
