Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Which of these 4 fixed gear bikes should I get?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I've been really looking at bikesdirect.com and I've been seriously looking into these bikes:
1: Dawes SST AL
2: Mercier Kilo TT Pro
3: Motobecane Team Track
4: Raleigh Rush Hour (not from bikesdirect.com)
I like them all. The only one, frame wise, that got me really looking at it is the Motobecane Team Track. Although more expensive than the others but I can try and wait to save a bit more. Anyways, anybody who has experience or just knows a lot about any of these bikes please i will appreciate any recommendations on which is better quality, durability, lighter, and all that good stuff. My limit is $700. Also, if you guys have any other recommended fixed bikes please let me know. Thanks guys.....
if you're using it for street use, kilo tt
if you're racing on the track, motobecane

Kilo TT Pro.
The moto team track has been sold out forever, and they aren't restocking.

Are you sold on getting a BD bike? If not and you have $700, how about the Wabi Classic:

Plus shipping will bring you a bit over $700 though.

No joke. They should take down bikes if they don't have em in stock.

One does not simply say "I have a TT Pro" when one owns "The World's Nicest Kilo".

What do you all think of the Raleigh Rush Hour or the eighthinch scramble? I read a few good things about them....

I ride an 09 Rush Hour. I'm under the impression that Reynolds 520 is very similar to, if the not exact same thing as Cromoly 4130. So keep that in mind when choosing.
As much as I like the bike, the only stock thing on there now is the headset, fork, and wheelset. I needed to experience the process of upgrading parts. If I had a choice now, I'd just go with a frame and build up, like I'm currently doing with my second bike.
But the Raleigh is solid, durable and very dependable with all of the various parts switched out. Also consider fork/frame clearance for wider tires, in case you ever want to switch up the ride. I'm going through that now and my Raleigh doesn't seem like it would fit 28-32c rear tires.

They also said they will possibly restock the Moto Team Track in December. Who knows.

This will be nice if they do. Frames like the moto team track are what I mostly like.
