Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Everyone says to purchase a Kilo TT

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
So I'm going to purchase my first fixie soon. Everyone tells me to go with the kilo tt. I won't be using it for committing, just casual fun rides of various distances. I want to be able to ride comfortable at any distance. I like the look of the Kilo WT, but not sure if a WT is my best choice. I'm new to this so idk what type of kilo would best fit my needs.

A regular TT frame should fit just fine, unless you plan on going off-roading or your streets are particularly ****ty.
Everyone? I've never said that!
Is there a question in here somewhere?

Dont buy the Kilo TT.
Can I get beefier tires on a TT? The ones I've seen just seem real thin and I don't like how they look. seems like they'd damage easier.

Get a Kilo WT. Or just ride road tires. I don't get why everyone is so scared of "thin/skinny" road tires.
Thanks. Idk I just don't like how they look.

I don't like how my Nissan Versa looks, but it's reliable as hell and does a great job of being a car. Function over form.

Anything in particular? The WT would be my choice -- fat tires rule for the crummy pavement in my area.
P.S. You've got time to think about it -- BD doesn't have many of either in stock, unless you're tiny.

You don't want much do you?

They're not as bad as some people make them out to be, especially considering that most people who say bad things about them have never even seen one in real life.
FWIW - everything I've ever had at The Cheesecake Factory has been absolutely delicious.
Haha good one. Very helpful

what models are you talking about. Some SE are ok and some are garbage.

That blank field with the magnifying glass in the upper right corner could be of help.

Everything was freshly deep fried when I went there, and the beer was cold. Meh, I'm easy...
