I am 62 and have been riding for about 55 years, mostly in my home area of Waterloo/Cedar Falls, IA.
I have a "78, Raleigh Competition GS (25.5)and an '84, Trek 830 (both bought new at the time. I used to ride thousands of miles a year, but since moving to Charleston in '91, not nearly as much as I would like. Between arthritic hands and the roads and streets here that are not conducive to safe, carefree riding. There is virtually no trail system to speak of and only "Main Drags" get anywhere. Drivers are not respectful of cyclists, so you take your life in your hands. There are efforts being made to improve things, but they are so far behind the 8 ball, it will probably not improve in my lifetime.
I came to this forum to see what my bikes were possibly worth and how many were out there.
Look forward to following threads.

Hey Nick,

Welcome to Bike Forums.
Have you tried a Dinnotte Tail Light for Daytime Safety?
