September 29th, Bike 4 Books. Fund raiser for the Newport, PA Library. This is my favorite ride. Some of the most beautiful countryside you'll ever ride through. The rolling hills in spots remind me of Wales (or the Wales in my 22 year old honeymoon memories). 20 bucks if you pre-register. You get a nice long-sleeved shirt and the support is very good. Woopie pies at every stop, but try to keep yourself to one for the whole ride. The lunch afterwards is terrific. PDF registration form at this link:
