Framebuilders - Six Week Frame Business Course for 30k

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
After doing some research on classes, I found this (http://antbikemike.wordpress.com/frame-building-classes/six-week-frame-business-course/) course by Ant Bike Mike. Damn.
What do you guys think of this? Seems like by the time you leave you'll have a "shop in a box" and have built probably over a dozen frames of all kinds. Seems super pricey though.

(Disclosure: Mike's a friend) Mike is a really really good guy with a great pedigree when it comes to building and he's a great teacher. If Mike was offering this when I started, I would have jumped on it in a second. If you're really thinking about getting into the business, it's a great option and it will save you a ton of time and energy.
Seriously, if you think the price is high, wait until you go out and start building a shop piece by piece. I have a modest shop and I have over double that into equipment not including the gas and trailer rental charges I spent to drive all over creation to get the right deal. And trust me, I wait for the right deal and I spend a lot of time looking for it.
Best!

I would second what Chris said above.

Compared to the cost of a grad degree in the field of your choice $30,000 is not expensive. Andy.
Cool cool. I would have definitely have jumped on this 4 years ago when I was looking at grad programs AND framebuilding for career choices, but now I gotta pay off some of those loans and not wrack up more.
Glad to know that people on the board vouch for this program. It's definitely the easiest answer to "How do I become a profesional frame builder?"
