I can feel the small knocking and something is loose while holding the front brake and push the bike forward. I have tighten the headset nut more and the problem is still there.
Any idea? Could it be the new brake (Shimano XT). I've checked the rotor and everything seems fine.
Thanks

Were the stem bolts loose when you did this ?

Likely bushing slop - knocking between the uppers and lowers of your suspension fork. This can be felt if you place your fingers around the stanchions where they enter the lowers, while holding the front brake. Could also be brake pad movement.
