Been riding these tires for about a month now and I ****ing love them. I was apprehensive cause they are marketed for the "hardcore fixie rider" but its a Conti for $25-35 a tire.
Haven't seen anyone mention them.
Anyone else tried these? gotten any flats? Skidding wear?

I have the gator skin Super sports and they rock.Only other tire i can recommend with similar puncture protection and feel is the specialized Armadillos.

I tired the Ultra Sports once and they were worn down to nothing in less than three months. I haven't tried the Super Sports before so this reply is moot.

I've had a rear Super Sport 700x25 on my beater for almost a year now, the entire flat protection band is showing and as it's wearing I can see some black material beneath it, I'm trying how long it'll go before I put a hole through it. Moving the tire around the rim to skid on different spots helped with its logevity, so far it's the tire that lasted the longest on my beater, followed closely by the Panaracer Ribmo. Definitely a good tire for the skid happy crowd. And it's the only good tire I can get locally, besides the super light race day tires every bike shop carries.

Ultrasports are the worst tire in production.
Supersports are a pretty solid tire.

Isnt it easiest to jump the chain and just rotate the wheel a bit?
