Hello, riders! Though an avid rider in my youth, I've been bike-less for the past 20 years since my beloved Peugeot was stolen. This summer I bought an entry level road bike (Trek 1.5) and have enjoyed getting back into riding shape. Much has changed (especially my body) over the past couple of decades, but I went on a long, slow 40 mile ride yesterday that seemed to take me back in time. Speaking of time-travel ... I've also recently bought a 1987 Marinoni Special frame with Columbus steel tubing and chrome fork and rear triangle, which I plan to rebuild with a Campy group. This is the type of bike I coveted once upon a time, and it doesn't seem so "vintage" to me, since I was 30 and in my prime when it was brand new. So, at present, I have one bike to ride and another to work on.

Happy riding!
