Howdy folks!
I just acquired a very used fixed gear and don't have much experience with these chain tugs. The wheel will not budge forward in the dropouts at all and the chain is way over tight. I used an allen key to turn one side of the tug back as far as I could but I guess I just don't know how the tug works. What's preventing the wheel from moving forward, is the tug attached to the hub at all? How do I disengage the tug?
To make things worse one of the allen keys on the rear or the tug is stripped so an allen won't fit into it at all. As pictured the quick release bolt has been removed, I don't know why, probably stolen
