I have run Velociraptors for years and they were ok. I ran nevregals this season and my rear tire has had almost all of its side lugs ripped off so I'm not getting any more of those. Recommendations? I am just looking for a general purpose 26" tire for east coast rocks and roots...

Whats your favorite tire? And why?

continental trail king (formerly rubber queen). because for our conditions (rocky, sandy, hardpack), they are awesome and grippy and last.

I had some good experience with Bontraeger Jones. I have also heard good things about the Avenir tires. I have been using a Kenda Karma as a front tire and have been real happy. I live in the desert SW and fight rocks, snakes and cactus needles for sport. Roots out here are the size of pencils.
