Figure someone here would be more likely to be doing this. I would just like to confirm that a Shimano external BB road crank (like a Sora triple) can be run on a 73mm bb using an MTB BB?

Considering you already asked in Mechanics, it looks like the crank will work. You will just need to use shorter spacers in place of parts #6 and #11
