Mountain Biking - Does new front suspension forks move when locked?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I tested some old bike and when I locked the suspension fork it still moved about 1cm. Does the new models do that too or are they rock solid once locked?
My bike will have this fork: http://www.sram.com/rockshox/products/sid-rl

Yeah, my 2007 and 2011 Rebas do have about 1cm of travel when I lock them. they require more pressure to move that bit though.
If the forks take a really big hit while you have them locked out, they'll move all the way to avoid damaging the internals.
So basically the lockout is merely an "extra extra extra stiff" setting.
