I've had the pleasure of purchasing (3) Recon gold anodized cassettes within the last 6 months from www.m-bikeparts.com who is based in Germany. The first one was for a Sram/Shim freehub and just recently, I've converted over to Campagnolo, hence the two additional new Recon cassettes. I took a chance with m-bikeparts because the only U.S. dealer that sold Recon cassettes didn't have them in stock for so long. Also, ebay sellers in Taiwan were difficult to communicate with and shipping times were suspect. Immediately after placing the order, I received consistent updates from Matthias at m-bikeparts; from receiving my payment, tracking info/shipping time, and to confirm the item was delivered as per USPS.
If anyone is looking for an alternative, lightweight road cassette for either Campagnolo, Sram, Shimano.. Recon cassettes is a great option and Matthias from m-bikeparts.com is highly recommended as they have other things available too. The typical shipping time from Germany is usually 5-7 business days, similar to ordering from Ribble, PBK, Wiggle.
