The original owner of a Raleigh Portage, purchased in 1986, I have done some research about the value of my bike and found some people view it more as a collectors item. It has low mileage and has been stored indoors. Everything is original about the bike except for the saddle. Does anyone have specific knowledge or experience regarding the value of this particular bike?

Hello jenbikes, welcome to the forum.
I believe it would be collectable because there are few of them around and 650b bikes have a big cultish following but I don't think that collectability transfers in to a huge dollar value.

Thanks, it is nice to find this forum.
Yes, it seems like not many of the Portages are around, especially with this frame size. Thanks for your input.

Two years ago, I had a 58 cm portage with original equipment plus new bar tape, new brooks b17 and new panaracer tires. I listed it on EBay after shoulder surgery with a buy it now for a thousand dollars. It sold in twelve minutes.
