Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Fixie Helmets

In the interest of keeping my dome in one piece. What are some solid helmets for fixed gear riders? :crash:

I'm a fan of Lazer helmets.

I like my Bern Brentwood.

I like my search button.

so...fixie helmets? what are those?

I use a Macon with a brentwood liner but i just saw one of these....might be fun if the visibility isn't compromised

Put on my fixie shoes with my fixie socks. And make some big brown toilet fixies later.

I use a Giro Atmos which has a Ti finish, it's comfy and has plenty of vents. Kask helmets are very comfortable too.

Maybe go to Costco? The have a Giro helmet there that's at kirkland signature price and go around noon on a weekend to snack on all the samples.

What about riding fixed would make a road style helmet not be ideal for you?

You have to use a fixie helmet to ride a fixie.

I did a little Googling and I think a fixie helmet is when you pull the hood of your sweet American Apparel jacket over your dope Supreme fitted. Doesn't sound that safe to me, I'd go for a road bike helmet.

except that most people wear that helmet because its comfortable and it works, sometimes Hipsters follow the trend
