Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Not sure if there are many fat bike riders here, but does anybody have any experience or knows of good reviews of Fatsand brand bikes (out of Florida, I think). I can find a lot on Pugsley and Salsa Mukluk, but not much on Fatsand bikes. I did read one review saying that the longer base on the Fatsand resulted in more stable but less maneuverable ride.
I'm not a trail rider like most of you, but I'd be interested in some winter riding, as well as just tackling less forgiving trails.
Thanks.
I'm also curious , though you may get better responses in the Winter Biking section , lots of those folks riding fat bikes. I really wish I could afford a super fat tire bike ...

I did post a more general question in the Winter Biking section about fat bikes, but oddly enough, didn't get a lot of responses: many just sort of said "go for it".
Winnipeg, eh? I grew up in Edmonton and lived there for 20 years before relocating to southern Ontario for the last 15 years. I don't envy your snow and cold!
