Found this bike locally and it says it's an '87, but I'm not sure because because I haven't been able to find another one this color.
What year do you think it is/price do you think it's worth?

Hello Zwinters welcome to the forums. I agree the color does not look right for a '87 Premio. An '86 would be black but the catalog shows red decals. Perhaps they was changed to yellow.

I think $300 seems a bit high but would like a bit more information about the wheels.

The frame is a Tange DB chromoly in "SuperSet" design with mangalloy chainstays and a mangalloy fork. My '87 Sport SX has a similar frame and it rides pretty good and is in the rotation of riders. The drive train is Suntour with friction shifters, and Diacompe brakes.

See if you can get a bit more info from the seller. Where is this Oregon? The season is winding down out there see if you can get it for close to $200 I think that might be a better deal. Does it fit?

Thank you Bianchigirll! Yeah the decals are starting to look like a gold color to me. I asked to see the bike so I'll hopefully get to see first hand soon. I'm in Washington actually. I was thinking of starting at $200 and seeing what I could get it for as long as I have enough information to talk him down. It's a 54 so it will either be perfect or a little bit small, but because it's close I'm very interested. Of course, I'll have to try sitting on it myself before I really know.

If it was an '86 with altered decals, do you know whether it was made in Japan or not?
I'll try to ask about the wheels.
