Training & Nutrition - Looking for a trainer...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I ride a Langster which doesn't have quick release squewers on the back wheel. My question is, will I be able to use my bike on the lower end trainers fom Minoura (500 or 850) or Travel Trac.
Thanks,
RLH

Or you could get rollers and not worry about it.
Hi,
I was looking into getting an indoor trainer. The guy at the bikeshop here recommended I get a Giant Cyclotron. Do you know anything about this?

Fixies and rollers really work well together... :D

My Minoura HyperMag Alu came with a quick-release skewer. Is it a matter of not wanting to switch skewers?
At any rate, you don't have to have a quick-release with my trainer. As long as the rear wheel fits in, it will work.

My Fixie works really well on my trainer (although I am dying to try rollers). I have the minoura hypermag alu trainer with remote.
