I bought a new trailer. The croozer for one child. In comparison to my old trailer it looks like a monster. Its pretty long in comparison, and barely any narrower, that was the point. I went with this trailer because I wanted to be able to stroll once I got to my destination, i.e. the park. I also wanted to use it in the supermarket but thinking I might have difficulty at my local market. Anywho, I didn't have brand new Burley Solo money, plus the attachments, and recently found a used solo on ebay, but I felt Id get a deal with the croozer. Since croozer is made by Chariot I realize the length of the new trailer is pretty much the same length as all the single, and double chariots. All in the 45 inch area. So I want to know from the chariot trailer/stroller pushing parents, does the length become cumbersome? How is it during shopping at the grocery or a store? As a trailer the extra length won't be much of an issue, its just stroller mode I am concerned with. Plus the croozer is a tad bit bigger width wise with a clearance of 29.1, bigger than both the burley solos and the chariots (solo 27.8, and single ride chariots 26.5 to 27.5.) My only option would be to sell it and get a used burley. Tell me your experiences. Thanks.

honestly, any trailer takes some getting used to, let alone a longer one.

eventually you just adapt.

I've found with our Burley Cub, that the two wheel stroller kit helps a ton when using it in a store, as it allows the trailer to move like a traditional stroller instead of like a fixed wheel jogging stroller.

let alone the single wheel style kits that place the turning wheel at the end of the trailer hitch.

With my Charoit cougar 2 trailer is smaller then my Baby trend side by side stroller and have taken that into stores fine. With my trailer I know the part that attaches to the bike comes off real easy and the stroller wheels are at the corners.

Have fun with your new trailer.
