Hello BF, I'm in the market for a new track frame, which I'm going to use as the base for a new build. I've being riding a Cinelli Histogram for about a year now, it's time for something new, I never really liked it anyway. I need a few recommendations on what frame to get. My budget is 2,800 for the total build, I know it isn't much but it's what I've got to work with. Can you guys help me out?

Thanks!

What kind of riding and racing do you plan to do?
What kind of track do you race on?
What did you like about your Cinelli, and what didn't you like about it?

People need a bit of information before making recommendations.

2800 is plenty for a great bike.

Is this for street or track (racing/training) use?

I sprint. I race on an outdoor track. I think the main thing about the Cinelli was the size, it had also been through quite a lot (been dooreed a few times, it was getting pretty beat up). I only bought it because I was looking to start riding track, and I got a great deal.

Mostly on the track, but some street (for training) as well. But, not the type of street that usually comes to mind. I ride mainly on a bike path, it's about 15 miles long, it's flat, and has some decent stretches for sprinting. I should also mention I'm looking at carbon > aluminum for all intensive purposes. Would you recommend a Dolan DF3 over say, a Cervelo P3T/T3?

Decided to go with a Cervelo T3, going to be doing a lot more pursuing now instead of sprinting!
