After losing a bike i was about to buy, I might as well give up finding a new bike for sale so I decided to build one.

This guy seems to sell a reasonably priced starter. But before my inexperienced hands touch this, I would like to make sure the frame is ok and it is worthwhile. So what is this?

Not worth it. Low end bike, something like a Huffy or Free Spirit. Factor in the cost of tools and parts and you are approaching the many $150 complete, better bikes posted on SF craigslist.

Agree wiht Veloh... nothing special. The wimpy chainstays are clear indication that any serious riding will be a poor experience... unless you like a bike that shifts for you automatically or one that rubs the tires on the stays anytime you lay into it... Not. You can do a lot better.

+1. Department store level frame. The Bianchi is not a Brava but an entry level Strada LX.

I would not even call this a bike low end frame no paint cheap steel wheels missing a tone of parts this is basically a piece of scrap metal. I would say its worth about $10 for scrap parts value. I would pass on this one even if it was free not worth the time and effort to pick it up.
