I have given up on my Juicy 3's on my almost new mtb. Cannot get the piston to retract properly for more than 1 ride. Done lots of service, cleaning, lubing, etc. I have decided to switch to BB7s. I am struggling to find the calipers to fit my 203 rotors. I assumed that the 200 size BB7 calipers would work ok. Can I use the 160 or 180 size calipers? It looks like the only difference is the adapter, are they readily available if I need to switch to the largest size?

Should I bag the whole idea and go with a cheap set of elixirs, or will my woes continue there as well?

Its about the adapter the caliper is attached to..

if the J3 fits, just unscrew the post mount bolts, and use the adapter you have,,

cool, somehow using the same adapter didn't even occur to me. I guess it's getting late

Thanks

Why the down grade to cable operated discs? What about looking at Shimano discs which work fine?

You say the MTB is almost new, what about the warranty on the bike / brakes? If the pads aren't retracting properly, are they faulty?
