Greeting, everyone!
I live just across the river from Augusta,GA, but am originally from New Orleans.
Mostly, I ride the asphalt on my Specialized cyclocross. I began on a Trek mountain bike about 6 years ago, but I wanted to cover a little more ground in the time. Still a bit uncomfortable on skinny tires.
Mostly do 50 to 60 mile loops in SC, NC, GA and VA, but have tented and cycled in NM, MA, Montreal and the Eastern Townships for a couple of weeks at a time over the last three years.
Looking at some time doing same in KY and IN in June, so will hope especially to be in touch with those of you familiar with some good road riding in those areas.:beer:
