No, but I've seen people who were at university dorm parties.
Are you 'too' drunk now, Windchaser?

No, but near it. I'm usually pretty good about keeping my composure, even to extreme levels of intoxication, which I don't really do anymore. I would think you would either have to have such a high tolerance that you didn't realize you were getting that drunk,(I have seen that situation countless times,) or have a low tolerance and drank way too much very quickly.

Sobriety is a good thing. For me, it's a gift I will always be thankful and grateful for.

I used to run the bar at an on-campus student hall of residence.
People not being able to walk was the least of the crazy crap I got to see.
Sadly, yes, way back in the day when I used to binge drink. I'm in recovery now and I haven't had any alcohol since 2007.

Interesting thing I noticed while at university. My roommate and I would leave parties stumbling and barely able to walk; sometimes having to hang onto each other to stay upright. But we'd get on our bikes and ride a perfectly straight line home. :)

Same here. Actually puke and walk over to a couch and go to sleep well before I couldn't walk.
Heck where I went ot school the dorms were mainly on the hill. One had to not just walk but navigate stairs.
Been decades since I've even been close to that drunk.

Thinking bmore about it, there are some sneaky drinks where I have seen people who were sitting at a bar drinking them then try to get up, likely to go to the bathroom and "can't walk". In fact it is more surprise than real loss af ability. They tend to fall over once or twice and then compensate.
Looking back most of the functions where I drank a lot was crowded parties and standing was the rule. No surprise on trying to stand in that situation.
Yep, what a f'n waste of time and money. Wish I knew that, and could control myself, back then.
But on a happier note, I once saw a guy that was sitting on a bar stool, lean back to finish his nth long island iced tea, he fell off the stool backwards. The bar tender leaned over the bar, looked down at him, and told him he was cut off.
