Want a bike for rain, snow, winter riding.

Is this a good buy?
I have a PX-10 1972 vintage bike in pristine condition and several UO-8 and upper to mid line Peugeots that I love.
I would like to make this bike a single speed, coaster brake bike with perhaps a studded front snow tire.
Is this a good frame or did I make a mistake in buying this....
comments good and bad are most welcome as I really love my PX-10 and am a Pug freac
