SO id like to purchase a new chainring for my crankset. The stock 48t is cool since I like spinning but I think I should get a 50t to go with the 15t EAI cog that I have.

There are so many options for 144bcd chainrings... A quick google hit gives me Sugino 75s, Zen variants (expensive!), Dura Ace, FSA pro track, Miche, Stronglight, Campy, TA...

Any suggestions in the <$100 dollar range?

FSA are by far the best bang for your buck.

FSA are by far the best bang for your buck.

+1

I'm still using some regularly that I bought in 2009.

I'm in the "whatever" camp with track chainrings. I've never found one that's unacceptable. FSAs are good bang/buck.

Keep an eye on the second hand market. I picked up a brand new Dura Ace chainring about 6months ago for $35. It was a fixie rider that had no idea what it was worth.

+2 on the FSA. Great quality, looks, and you can't beat the price.
