I recently had my road bike stolen from my garage and need a replacement bike. I don't have the same budget when i bought the Trek. Is the Cannondale R600 Caad3 a still good road bike, or should i save more money for a newer bike?

Im 16, around 5'6 and will use this bike primarily to commute to school and enter a few triathlon races
