Hi everyone!

I'm a newbie to this forum. I rode a bike as a kid, but stopped at 10. Hadn't ridden since until an adventure vacation a few months ago. I had some down time at the end of my trip, and a local I'd met took me biking on some trails in the mountains. I had a total blast! Now, I'd like to take it up as a serious hobby.

I stumbled across this forum as I was researching bikes. So many choices! Gears!! (My kiddie bike didn't have gears). Brakes. Cranks. Seats. It's overwhelming and a little intimidating. Still I'm excited to get started. Hoping this forum will be a great place to get my questions answered by expert enthusiasts, and a useful resource as I get started on my journey.

Cheers!

Bike riding is 10% The Bike and 90 % The Motor.

Decide what type of riding you want to get into and then your budget.

Some us have started with a used bike from Craiglist as a learning bike and to get into shape.
